Directions:

From the South & East

Join the M8 Westbound.

From Carlisle

Use the M6/M74 and the short link of the M73, following signs for Glasgow Centre.

Follow the signs for Glasgow Centre/Greenock.

Exit junction 16 (for George Square & Aberfoyle).

Take the first right at the traffic lights and then a sharp left, following the sign for Milngavie (A897). Proceed to the top of the hill over the canal bridge and turn left at the traffic lights.

Take the first left which is Speirs Wharf. Follow the curve around to the right, ignoring the ‘Private Parking’ sign. It is advisable to take the first parking space found. However if no spaces are available proceed to the end of the Wharf into the private parking area and take one of the reserved Young and Gault spaces. (No. 28 is about 300 yards along.)

From the West

Take the M8 Eastbound.

Cross the Kingston Bridge in the second lane from the right, i.e. following the signs for Edinburgh.

Exit at junction 17 (Dumbarton & Aberfoyle) then take the left fork for Aberfoyle. At the next set of traffic lights (St George’s Cross), turn right.

Go straight through the next two sets of lights. You are now travelling parallel to the motorway.

At the third set of lights turn left and then left again onto Criaghall Road (A897), following the sign for Milngavie.

Take the first left which is Speirs Wharf. Follow the curve around to the right, ignoring the ‘Private Parking’ sign. It is advisable to take the first parking space found.
